A Sustainability Journey from Poverty to Prosperity

Indigenous Literacy and Agricultural Development Project

The Ancestral Lands of the Indigenous People of the Philippines is a land gifted with a diverse terrain consisting of fertile soil of flat lands, a rich woodland and various tributary rivers towards the Pacific Ocean that accounts for the archipelago’s rich aquatic culture. The lands maybe gifted but the region faces a development challenge where its sustainability and environmental impact may have an adverse effect on the Indigenous ancestral domain’s efforts in both environmental and cultural conservation. What’s more, the Indigenous People of are also facing an uphill task of coping with the rapid modernization of the country.
To empower the Indigenous People (IP) of the Philippines through education, workforce training, leadership improvement and introduce sustainable development concepts to IP farmers and communities living in far rural areas.
