The process of getting developers certified and ready for Blockchain is the first step of upskilling the company’s IT & Development teams.
Bonifacio Global City Taguig, 2018 – The first batch of developers by DynaQuest Technology Services Inc (DQTSI) has finished their training and certification under the NEM Blockchain platform last year. Known as the ‘DynaQuest MVP team’ that specializes in JAVA and Guidewire, the team has a strong background in developing insurance software, systems and applications. The team is the Insurtech core developers of the company.
Equipped with Blockchain training from NEM, the team has since participated in several hackathons last year. The hackathons are Rappler’s #HACKSOCIETY and the DISH 2018 Hackathon. The products of the hackathons were MegaPhone, a disaster response communications system that was developed in #HACKSOCIETY and is powered by Blockchain’s mechanism to verify information across distributed networks. In the DISH 2018 Hackathon, the DynaQuest MVP team developed a Digital Identity system and platform that was engineered in granting identities to indigenous people in the Philippines.
The experience in training under the NEM Blockchain platform and the participation in last year’s hackathon will serve as an invaluable source of learning and inspiration that will help prepare the team in engineering the company’s Blockchain solutions for Insurtech.
“Getting the team equipped with the knowledge and experience with NEM is the first step in preparing them for future Blockchain projects,” said DynaQuest country director Gail Macapagal, who was present in the graduation and certification of the team.
“Next, we are looking at training and development under Ripple and R3, the large-scale Blockchain platforms for commerce, finance and insurance,” added Gail.
“A Blockchain future is looming and as a solutions company specializing in Insurance and Finance, we are answering the call of disruption by equipping the team with the skills and certification to work with the Blockchain-enabled systems of the future,” said DynaQuest CEO Randy Knutson.
“The DynaQuest MVP team is now certified in Blockchain and this means a leap in our insurtech capabilities to engineer, develop and manage Blockchain enabled insurance systems.”
DynaQuest Technology Services Inc (DQTSI) is a recognized insurtech provider that specializes in Guidewire development for insurance systems and applications. The company is also a Blockchain consulting, resource provider and support specialist for insurance companies that are looking to transition to Blockchain.
